9/07/2011 - "Since returning to the area a few years ago I have only found one place that does superb cuts. I prefer going to Casey, but they all do a superb job. They were also hand picked by the proprietor and the majority come from the Keene Beauty Academy. What really matters is the amount of compliments you'll receive when people see your hair. I get quite a few even though I only go once a month or so. They are masters of the trade and will give you what you want. Please try them. :) tely recommend you give them a try! You wont regret it!"

3/20/2011 - "I've had my hair cut and colored several times by the staff at Salon Jacque, every time has been a wonderful experience! The staff is very attentive and knowlegeable, the Salon is clean and well kept, and they even offer you coffee/tea to go with your service! The service is timely and well organized. I have absolutely loved every cut and color I have gotten at salon Jacque, and definitely recommend you give them a try! You wont regret it!"

3/2/2011 - "I went to college in the Brattleboro area for three years, and for that entire time (and one year after, when I would drive an hour and a half to get there) I was a regular at Salon Jacque and always had Christine as a stylist. At first, she tamed my unmanageable long and wavy hair beautifully, and then when I decided to go short, she sat me down and we discussed the decision for 15 minutes before going through with it. After that, she always remembered exactly how I liked it and every cut was perfect and unique. I've also had her for coloring treatments, highlights, and brow waxes (best brow wax I've ever had). I've been away from the area for a year now and have experienced salons in both Portland, Maine and Northern Virginia. NOTHING compares to my experience at Salon Jacque - for some reason, everybody wants to make me look like gosh darn Victoria Beckham. I just got home from another less-than-thrilling salon experience, which is what prompted me to write this review. I miss Salon Jacque, and I recommend both the salon and Christine as a hair genius very, very highly. I wish I could still go there!"

12/16/2010 - "I've been going to Salon Jacques for over 4 years now. I have always left the salon excited and happy about my hair, not that sinking feeling you get when you walk out with your hair styled in a way you can never replicate and your bank account significantly damaged.
I have been seeing Dawn there for years and recently needed a haircut on a specific day she wasn't available I was introduced to Sierra, a new stylist who gave be an incredible razor bob that I adore. She only costs 20$ for cuts and is better than "master stylists" I've payed 75$ for before.
I trust Salon Jacques with my hair and will for years to come. They are all so polite and really work on knowing you as a customer. I recently moved to Albany for work and still make it back to Brattleboro if I need anything done.
From the font desk to the chair your always greeted with a smile and a hot cup of tea or coffee. The place is always very clean and stylishly decorated, just a great place to have some 'me time'."

9/2/2010 - "I've had my hair cut by 3 different stylists on 3 separate occasions and they were all excellent. Each stylist took the time to talk to me about what I wanted, looked at some photos I had brought (a picture is worth a thousand words), and took their time. The first stylist gave me the most amazing all-singing all-dancing haircut I've ever had. I was able wear it long hippie-ish, spiked, Julius Cesar, and even a middle-aged version of Justin Beiber. Remarkable for a men's haircut. I'm a Brooklyn transplant and I've never been able to get such a great haircut anywhere in hoity toity New York City. I especially like the fact that they give as much care and attention to their male customers as their female customers."
